WENDY WILLIAMS checks into a treatment facility because her son believes her alcoholism may be fatal.

Wendy Williams’ son is concerned for his mother’s safety because she is currently in a treatment center for alcohol consumption.

Williams, who is also suffering from Graves’ disease, previously concealed her alcoholism. She recently canceled a speaking commitment at the Atlanta Women’s Expo in May and was caught drinking at Fresco by Scotto and The Townhouse in March – just a few months after exiting treatment.

“Wendy is at a facility doing her best to be her best,” Will Selby, her manager, told Entertainment Tonight.

Selby told the publication that he believes people spread “negative information” about Williams, 58, without ever inquiring how she is doing in reality.

“Why don’t we just take a moment and say, ‘Hey, how’s she?'” “Is she doing well today?” he asked. “Why isn’t that the focus?” “Why aren’t we talking about that on a daily basis?”

“Wendy is at a facility doing her best to be her best,” Will Selby, her manager, told ET in a statement.”She’s just taking it day by day.”

Selby’s remarks came a day after Kevin Hunter Jr., the former “Wendy Williams Show” host’s son, expressed concern about his mother’s worsening health.

According to Kelvin Hunter Jr., 22, Williams’ body does not handle liquor at the same “rate” as a “normal” person’s body does.

“We’ve discussed it. “I’ve told her, ‘This is one of those things where you don’t know how to approach it normally, and that’s fine,’ and it’s gotten to the point where, yes, it could have that effect that it could be fatal because it affects her way worse than a normal person because it stays in her system,” he stated.

Hunter Jr. is anxious not only about his mother’s health, but also about the motives of everyone around her, including Selby, who is under a court-ordered guardianship.

He believes his mother’s surroundings are taking advantage of her.

“What’s been made more important by the people around her is that, while her health may not be great, she needs to keep earning income, and in my opinion, that should not be a priority at all,” he told the source.

“And whoever was hired is taking advantage of someone who needs to improve.”

Hunter Jr. claims Wendy was forced to sign contracts while in treatment last year.

“I believe that when it comes to people wanting to ‘help’ her, a lot of it stems from the mindset of, ‘OK, she’s alone now.'” “Let’s see if we can make her act the way we want her to act or if we can control the rate at which she handles herself,” he told the US Sun.

Selby, her manager, denied Hunter Jr.’s charges to ET, saying, “Taking advantage of her for what? To obtain what? To what end? I’m not here to brag, but I was doing OK before Wendy showed up, and I insisted on assisting her because she asked.”

Selby stated that because the author of “Ask Wendy” is under guardianship, “everything she does gets approved” by that guardianship.

“So, no one, even if they wanted to take advantage of her — everything has to get approved by that court,” he explained. “So, any type of business dealings that Wendy, myself, or anyone engage in, we have to get the guardianship to sign off on.” So who can take advantage of her?”
