According to reports, bloggers who quit Azimio and joined the Kenya Kwanza propaganda team only make pennies.
Akbas Omondi, a vocal blogger for Azimio, posted an invoice from the Ministry of the Interior that revealed the funds that are allegedly given to the bloggers who support the government.
blogs under the current system are struggling financially, as opposed to the previous one where pro-government blogs were flush with cash.
One of the pro-government bloggers who took to Twitter to criticize the Ministry of Interior for paying them so little was Aoko Otieno.
She alleged that Raymond Amollo, the interior department’s permanent secretary, had been stealing money designated for bloggers.
