Susan Kihika, the governor of Nakuru County, has replied to allegations that she has been MIA for the past few weeks.
In response to a media story, economist Mohamed Wehliye questioned the Governor on Twitter about her location.
The governor has reportedly been missing in action for a considerable amount of time, according to media reports.
According to the report, the governor has been noticeably missing from important state functions that have invited national figures.
“Ala! Governor Susan Kihika, you are wanted across the nation. Or was it a lack of airtime due to the weak economy? Wehliye posed while speaking in Kikuyu.
However, Kihika attempted to refute the stories in response, claiming that she had not moved.
“I’m sure you’re one of us. That’s a lot of kikuyu. The governor added, “If you can send me airtime, I’ll be extremely glad and stop hiding and come out to the people so they don’t start seeking for me like money.
In a subsequent comment to a follower who queried her location, Kihika criticized the media, claiming that such a report is intended to increase sales.
