Pastor Ezekiel Odero of the New Life Prayer Centre and Church has issued a warning over what will happen to people of Mount Kenya after President Uhuru Kenyatta steps down in 2022.
Prior to his retirement, Uhuru begged the people of Mount Kenya not to vote for William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua, whom he claimed had a history of stealing from the government.
But eight months after they gave Ruto and Gachagua the two highest posts in the land, the Mt. Kenya electorate, who supported them to the very last vote, is now grumbling.
Pastor Ezekiel said that the Kikuyus would later regret not giving in to Uhuru’s pleas to choose former prime minister Raila Odinga as Kenya’s fifth president.
“Nobody wants the guy who shut off the conduits where public money was being spent. Even the residents of Central Kenya oppose Uhuru Kenyatta, he claimed.
Ezekiel claimed that when he said that anyone who opposed Uhuru would regret it, he wasn’t lying.
“Those who rejected Uhuru will experience financial hardship. You’ll shed tears for him.
