Reality TV star Khloé Kardashian has acknowledged that she found it difficult to bond with her kid, who was born through surrogacy, and has called the procedure a “mind f-k.”
In July 2022, Khloe gave birth to Tatum with her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
She admitted that until she arrived to the hospital, it hadn’t fully dawned on her that she was expecting a kid in the Season 3 debut of “The Kardashians” on Hulu on Thursday, May 25.
Kardashian confessed, “I felt incredibly bad because this woman just had my baby. You’re somewhat divided as I take the infant and leave the room. Because it isn’t about him, the encounter is so transactional.
She continued by expressing her “shock” at the entire surrogacy experience.
She added that it’s not a terrible thing, saying, “I wish someone was honest about surrogacy and the differences.” It’s still fantastic, but it’s quite different now.
Khloé acknowledged the process had been difficult for her in a conversation with her sister Kim Kardashian, who had two of her four children through surrogacy, and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.

When Disick questioned whether she had a stronger bond with her daughter, whom she gave birth to herself, than she did with her son, she nodded.
True, 5, and Tatum, 9 months old, are Khloé’s children with Thompson.
