Billy Gilmour, a former Chelsea midfielder who now plays for Brighton, stated that a female stalker caused him such anguish that he now needs sleeping pills to be able to sleep at night.

The horrific campaign against Gilmour and his former Chelsea teammates Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell reportedly got started after Chilwell’s house party, according to Orla Sloan, 22, who went by the moniker “Devil Baby.”

Mail Online claims that following the party, Instagram influencer Sloan sent Gilmour messages, which led the midfielder to voice his worries to Brighton.

Sloan also made fictitious claims to have been pregnant for the footballer, who joined the south coast club from Chelsea for £9million, leaving Gilmour traumatized and unable to sleep as a result of the texts.

“This has had a very negative impact on me; I have been unable to sleep and have had to turn to taking sleeping pills,” the Scotland international stated.

“This has affected my performances negatively.”

‘When I first started getting messages from Orla, I had just moved to a new place and had no friends or family.

I once had a very brief encounter with this person.

The way she changed the tone of her texts to try to catch my attention was really unsettling.

“The assaults by Orla have harmed the friendships and relationships I already had,” the subject said.

A court heard testimony about how Sloan had a one-night affair with Mount, a midfielder for Chelsea, before sending the player a string of odd messages.

She promised to avoid buying meals in order to save money for new SIM cards, and she changed her number 21 times in order to stay in touch with Mount after he blocked her.

The 24-year-old Mount claimed he was frightened she might appear at Chelsea’s practice facility in Cobham, Surrey.

Sloan was warned that if she receives a prison sentence on June 20.

She allegedly met the footballers after Chilwell sent a buddy a message on Instagram inviting them to a party at his house.

Jason Seetal, the prosecutor, claimed that she and Mount shared one sleepover after the celebration.

“They communicated for six months, after which Mr. Mount decided the relationship wouldn’t develop further and decided to stop communicating with the defendant,” he continued.

After that, he experienced a barrage of texts.

Sloan’s phone was blocked after Mount ordered her to stop texting him, but she started messaging him from various numbers and eventually used 21, according to the evidence presented in court.

Under the alias “Only God 10,” she stated in one WhatsApp message: “I found out about Bethany, Esme, and more – I will find out everything.”

She wrote in the message, “I’m not buying food anymore so I can get more numbers,” and sent him a photo of herself spending £12.99 for a new phone number.

Sloan said, “I really want to say sorry, and if you could just talk to me and tell me how you feel, I would really appreciate it because I’m finding it hard to move on from the situation.”

Let me apologize and make things right because if you don’t accept my apologies and tell me you’re sorry, you’ll unlock a new character named “Devil Baby.”

The footballer, his friends, and family were all tagged in a montage of photos of the England star with other ladies that was shared on the Instagram account ‘Devil Baby,’ which also started sending Mount messages.

Mount, who has 36 England caps, said in a statement read in court: “She knows where I live and where I train.”

She can’t get in touch with me, therefore I’m concerned that she might show up at my training facility.

Sloan also barraged Chilwell, 26, with messages, and collages of him with other women started to show up on the Devil Baby account.

There were references in the photo captions to “going through abortions” and “being blocked after a few months.”

Sloan sent eight additional texts in response to his request for her to leave him alone, the court was informed.

Sloan accepted two counts of stalking in relation to Mount and Gilmour, as well as one count of harassment without violence against Chilwell.

When she is sentenced at the same court on June 20, district judge Neeta Minhas warned her she might receive a jail sentence for the stalking offenses.

According to her, “it was targeting three different people, and the starting point for one offence crosses the custody threshold.”
