RUTO lavishes incentives on CHEBUKATI for a job well done in the recent election by appointing his wife, MARY, to a lucrative government job – LOOK!

In order to thank former IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati for his efforts during the most recent general election, President William Ruto has taken action.

He did this after proposing Mary Wanyonyi, his wife, for the position of Chairperson of the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA).

According to a statement from Ruto, Mary’s educational background and prior work experience made her a strong candidate for the role.

She was chosen from a group of three candidates, which also included Thomas Ludindi Mwadeghu and Felicity Nkirote Biriri, whose names the Public Service Commission (PSC) had sent to the Head of State.

“CPA Mary A.C. Wanyonyi has been nominated by the Head of State in accordance with Article 215 (2)(a) of the Constitution for appointment as the Chairperson of the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA).”

Ruto was controversially declared the winner of the presidential race by Chebukati, who presided over the 2022 General race.

Phyllis Wambui Wagacha was also nominated by the Head of State to join the Salaries

The Public Service Commission is represented by the Standards and Remuneration Commission (SRC).

From a list of three candidates—which also included Phyllis Wambui Wagacha and Japhter Kiplimo Rugut—Wagacha was chosen for the position.

“The nomination follows a competitive process in which the PSC recommended to His Excellency the President,” the statement said.

Wagacha had previously held jobs with organizations such as the Kenya National Library Service (KNLS), the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), and the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).
