Following the arrest of two stunning women by DCI police who were allegedly responsible for adulterating men’s drinks in clubs near Thika town, the general public was treated to dramatic sights.
After robbing a customer, the culprits were located by the detectives and apprehended along the congested Thika-Garissa road.
The ladies are shown being loaded into a Subaru in a video posted to social media by plain-clothes DCI officers, although they fight being arrested and claim innocence.
Why are we being detained by you? They are heard claiming, “We are innocent.”
The officers and suspects get into a physical altercation, drawing spectators from the public, including boda boda riders.
At first, the onlookers side with the women and demand that the DCI officers produce identification proving that they are police officers.
Before one of the investigators can inform the assembled throng that the ladies are being detained in connection with adulterating customers’ beverages, the detective makes an attempt to draw his gun to disperse the mob.
The detective declares, “Hawa ndio wanaekea watu mchele,” and then reveals to the public proof that he has obtained from his phone.
The shocked crowd swiftly sides with the DCI officers in response to the unexpected turn of events, and the suspects are ultimately taken into custody.
