Bukayo Saka has extended his contract with Arsenal to keep playing for his old club through 2027.

The 21-year-old England international has made Arsenal his future home and has become one of the team’s best earners.

According to the arrangement, which was made public by Mail Sport in February, his weekly salary will be close to £300,000. Bonuses and other incentives will also be included.

Arsenal has been trying to sign a group of young players this year, and Saka is one of them. Early in the year, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes signed new contracts, and last week, goalie Aaron Ramsdale made an extension announcement.

When the new deal was officially announced, Saka expressed his joy at extending his tenure at the “beautiful club.”

I’m just incredibly delighted to be in a position to take the next step. Saka said, “It’s a gorgeous club, and I’m just really delighted. “When I was a student at the Academy in Hale End, I was just a young person looking to have fun and play. Of course, as you get older, things become more serious.”

“I just kept that drive inside of me,” I said. “It’s been a great journey with a lot of hard work.” I truly realized, “Oh my gosh, I’ve really done it,” when I made my first team debut. Now that I’ve realized my dream, the focus is on staying put and upholding it.

Although it “hurt a lot” to consider the conclusion of this season, Saka said, “a lot of positive change” had occurred during his time with the first team.

One thing I can say is that this team and the club have grown during the last two to three years I’ve been playing, and we are moving in the right path, he continued.

“This year’s supporters have been wonderful.” We have so much in common when it comes to our fervor for this team, even when I encounter fans outside the stadium.

“I feel like some of the fans I meet would give everything if they could play, and I can see it in their eyes when we are speaking,” the fan said. There is a palpable sense of increased connection among us throughout the stadium.

Both his boss Arteta and the club’s sporting director Edu received tremendous appreciation from the winger, demonstrating their confidence in him.

“Mikel has a genuine affection for the players.” You have a great connection with him as a player. said Saka. Mikel has been wonderful for me personally. I’ve changed so much since he arrived, and I’m extremely appreciative of him.

“Edu is awesome and helped me get my number 7,” you say. I couldn’t believe it when he just answered, “Of course, we can give it to you.”

“That was one of those times when I realized just how much this club really did believe in me.” It was such a lovely time.
