Look for someone else to frighten; I’m not leaving politics – a defiant UHURU tells RUTO and his goons.

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has rejected requests from some Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders to stop participating in active politics.

Speaking on Monday at the Jubilee Party’s National Delegates Conference (NDC) at Ngong Racecourse, Uhuru declared that he would not be intimidated and revealed that he had intended to retire and pursue other interests, but that was not going to happen since some individuals were pressuring him to do so.

“I had made the decision to leave politics and pursue other interests. I had anticipated coming to let you know that I had done my part and that it was time for new leaders the day we established the NDC.

The delegates cheered as Uhuru added, “But some people have decided to go with threats and intimidation. Today I want to tell them to look for someone else to intimidate, not Uhuru Kenyatta.”

After rebel Jubilee Party leaders under the leadership of Kanini Kega, a member of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), and newly nominated MP Sabina Chege asked him to step down as party leader and hand the party over to new leaders, Uhuru made his statements.
