When President William Ruto arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Thursday, he was greeted with fanfare and color.
On Sunday, Ruto departed for a four-day trip to Belgium and Germany, where he met with the leaders of those countries to sign multiple trade agreements.
When Ruto arrived at the JKIA, officers including the Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome, the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, and the Chief of General Staff General Robert Kabochi welcomed him.
As the president landed at JKIA, the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) mounted a guard of honor and rolled out a red carpet.
