Only months after it was confirmed that she is expecting her first child with her Grammy-nominated partner, Cordae, tennis star Naomi Osaka took to social media on Tuesday, March 21, to display her baby belly.
The tennis player posted a number of photos from a street in Japan in which she was seen sporting a cropped green jersey with her last name and the number 97 printed on the back and a cutely protruding baby bulge in front. She wore the top with a pair of baggy, oversized trousers, a pair of beige and gray sneakers, a pair of big, gold earrings, and an On baseball cap.
The caption was kept straightforward with just the Japanese flag. She posted a another snapshot of her bump in a close-up on her Instagram Story.
Osaka originally disclosed she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Cordae in January. She captioned the ultrasound screen image in an Instagram carousel she uploaded at the time, “Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023.”
Osaka gave insights on her upcoming chapter in a message presented on the following slides in both English and Japanese. She penned;
“To put it mildly, the last few years have been fascinating, but I believe that the most difficult moments in life may also be the most enjoyable. My passion and admiration for the game I have devoted my life to have truly grown throughout these few months apart from it.
