Jeremiah Kioni, Secretary General of the Jubilee Party, has urged President William Ruto to be prepared for cataclysmic consequences if he arrests former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Already on Tuesday, some Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders demanded the arrest of former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga for organizing Monday’s chaotic mass protests.
“When President William Ruto stated that everyone is subject to the law, Odinga and Kenyatta were not exempt. “They must submit to the whims of our constitution and law,” Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wah said, urging Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome to arrest the two for organizing Monday’s mass protest.
However, Kioni, a close ally of Uhuru Kenyatta, dared Ruto to arrest the former President, saying he will not know what hit him.
If Ruto arrests Uhuru, Kioni claims that true Mau Mau sons will rise from their camps and teach the Kenya Kwanza Alliance administration the same lesson that former Freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi taught colonialists in the 1950s.
“If you arrest the former President, be prepared for the worst,” Kioni warned Ruto.
