On Monday night, three Nigerian men allegedly kept a young Kenyan woman prisoner in a residence in Utawala for hours until she was freed by police.

She was asked to the flat by a Nigerian man for a business meeting, and when she arrived, she discovered two other Nigerian males.

Her phone was to be turned off, and her WhatsApp account was to be deleted.

She was then imprisoned in the bedroom for several hours.

She foresaw danger and sent a worrisome message to human rights campaigner James Kamau, who shared the experience and reported the incident to the police.

Kamau talked to the woman on Facebook and asked where she was and where else she may be.

After learning where she was, police conducted a raid on the residence and detained the offenders.

According to reports, the foreigners wanted to ask her friends and relatives for money.
