Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku.
Chelsea loaned out the Belgian international to his former club, Inter Milan, last year after he failed to impress following his £97 million transfer from the Italian club in 2021.
Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta confirmed earlier this week that Lukaku will return to England at the end of his loan spell.
‘The loan was for one season, so regardless of how well he plays, he’ll return to Chelsea on June 30,’ Marotta told Sky Italia.
‘This has been a season like no other. Of course, I’m referring to the World Cup. The issues we’ve had have been shared by other clubs and players who competed in the World Cup.
Real Madrid, the Spanish giants, are reportedly interested in signing him this summer.
According to Fichajes, Carlo Ancelotti’s side values Lukaku’s abilities when he is healthy and would be willing to bring him to the Santiago Bernebau.
According to the same source, Madrid sees the Belgian as a strong option alongside Karim Benzema, who has only 11 LaLiga goals this season.
