Gerard Piqué, Shakira’s ex, has admitted to listening to her “diss track,” which appears to mock him and his new girlfriend.

Shakira makes it clear that she is referring to Clara Chia, 23, whom Gerard is said to have started dating last year before they split, saying, ‘I’m worth two 22’s. You exchanged your Ferrari for a Twingo. You exchanged your Rolex for a Casio.’

Gerard was asked if he had heard the song while appearing on RAC1’s El món’ program this week, according to

‘Yes, obviously,’ the ex-soccer player replied, before adding: ‘I don’t want to talk about it’.

‘We have a responsibility, those of us who are parents must protect our children,’ he continued, referring to the two children he shares with Shakira. Everyone makes their own choices. I’m not feeling like talking right now. I just want my kids to be okay.’

‘I’ve always had a close bond with my children. Nothing makes me happier than to see my son smile.’

‘Each person makes the decisions he believes are best. I do things in a certain way, and I try to do them as well as possible. I’m fine and content.’
