Dad allegedly murders his wife, his teenage kid, and himself

According to a local story, a New Jersey father shot his wife, his teenage son, and himself in their home.

According to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, police were called to a residence in the Succasunna neighborhood on Tuesday morning, March 7, for a welfare check, and they found the three bodies there.

In an apparent murder-suicide that took place inside the Justine Place home, law enforcement officials told WNBC that a man shot his family before turning the pistol on himself.

On Wednesday morning, the prosecutor’s office was unable to corroborate these facts or give the names of the victims.

Prosecutors said there is no threat to the community and that there is an ongoing investigation going on. They also said that further information will be revealed “at the proper time.”

Prosecutors state that the Roxbury Police Department and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office are also conducting inquiries.

Tuesday night, Roxbury Public Schools informed parents of the passing of one of its high school students.

The Facebook post stated, “It is with a heavy heart that we relay the devastating news of the passing of one of our high school students. The high school administration and staff have arranged for any necessary supports and resources to be made available to staff members and pupils.

According to a survey done last year by the financial technology company SmartAsset, Morris County is the second-richest county in the Garden State in terms of per-capita income.
