Victor Osimhen has finally confessed that he wants to play in the Premier League in England.
Osimhen is the leading scorer in the Italian top flight this season, with 19 goals in 21 games, and has emerged as Napoli’s most crucial player as the club maintains a 15-point advantage at the top of the league.
In response to transfer rumors, the Super Eagles striker told The Athletic that he is ‘training hard’ to play in the Premier League one day.
‘I think playing in one of the world’s top five leagues (Serie A) is an incredible sensation for me.
‘A lot of people around the world consider the Premier League to be the best and strongest league, but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world, the Italian Serie,’ he says.
‘I’m working extremely hard to ensure that I fulfill my dream of playing in the Premier League someday, but as I said, it’s a process, and all I want to do is maintain this momentum and continue to do well.’
Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea have all been linked with the Napoli forward.
