President William Ruto has responded to Azimio One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga’s request to open Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) servers and determine who won the presidential election last year.

Raila Odinga has also demanded that Ruto authorize a reputable firm to audit IEBC servers and determine who won the presidential election on August 9, 2022.

However, speaking at the re-launch of the Women Enterprise Fund and the Second Product of the Hustler Fund at KICC, Ruto stated that his job is not to open servers, but to deliver on his campaign promises to Kenyans.

“Where in the constitution does it say that it is the President’s responsibility to go and open servers?” he inquired.

Ruto went on to say that he is a busy man who is currently focused on reviving the economy, eradicating hunger, and mitigating drought.

“I am busy; if you have time, you can go open the servers; I am busy working on the Hustler Fund, the Women Enterprise Fund, and food distribution,” he explained.

He also stated that the opposition has the right to handle their own affairs as long as they follow the law.

“We will not do what you want; I will ensure that this country is rooted in the law; don’t waste your time; do whatever the law allows,” he said.
