After planned statewide protests against the government, John Lonyangapuo, a former West Pokot County Governor, has criticized Raila Odinga, the head of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition party.

Lonyangapuo urged the ODM chief to give President William Ruto’s administration time to function in his remarks on Thursday.

The former county executive claimed that because of the high cost of living, Kenyans already faced hardship and that taking to the streets would only make matters worse.

Also, he urged Raila to start moving forward and accept that Azimio lost the election to Ruto.
“I implore Raila to halt the planned street demonstrations. Let’s give the others an opportunity to lead us since we were vanquished. I’m going to make a plea to Kenyans; right now, we’re dealing with a lot of issues.

Lonyangapuo said, “I want to condemn it myself in the strongest terms imaginable.

The former county leader urged anyone who had a beef with Ruto to let him serve as mayor and run for office again in five years.
