After criticizing her for using the phrase “so fine” when posting pictures from their British Vogue shoot, Rihanna hit back at the trolls.
Many internet commenters thought the nine-month-old should have been described as a “grown man,” with one supporter asking: “Who calls a baby fine?”
According to Us Weekly, the Umbrella singer retorted, “His mother!” She followed up with a lighthearted remark, saying, “You just keep your wee cougar paws away from him and we okay!”
The 34-year-old singer announced during her Super Bowl halftime performance that she and partner A$AP Rocky are expecting their second child. The couple already has a baby boy.
The firstborn’s name has not yet been made public by the parents.
British Vogue’s March 2023 issue featured them on the cover, and Rihanna talked openly about her relationship with the rapper, 34, and how having their kid transformed her outlook on life.
Rihanna acknowledged that she can’t remember her life before giving birth to her baby in May 2022 and referred to Rocky as her “best friend,” calling parenthood “everything.”
She told the magazine, “It’s everything, you really don’t remember life before, that’s the strangest thing ever.”
Despite the difficulties of parenting, Rihanna asserted that they had only become closer because she and Rocky are now “best friends with a baby.”
The new mother continued, “Everything changes when you have a baby, but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything other than brought us closer.”
When promoting the magazine’s cover story, Rihanna said she didn’t know she was expecting their second kid at the time of the photo session.
She wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, “How crazy both of my kiddos were in these shots and mother had no clue.”
On Sunday during her memorable Super Bowl halftime performance, which was the second-most watched halftime show in history behind Katy Perry’s 2015 performance, Rihanna made the major pregnancy announcement.
