President Joseph Biden’s final annual physical examination before he is anticipated to announce his candidacy for reelection in 2024, when he would be 82, resulted in a “fit for duty” diagnosis from his doctor.

Biden, the oldest candidate for US president in history, started taking fitness tests last year.

He spent the morning of February 16th at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, a complex in the suburbs of Washington that includes a facility for the president, finishing the testing.

The results of rigorous testing revealed some relatively minor difficulties, but the investigation concluded that Biden was free of major physical and neurological conditions.

According to President Biden’s doctor, Kevin O’Connor, in a letter made public by the White House, “President Biden remains a healthy, vigorous, 80-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, including those of Chief Executive, Head of State, and Commander in Chief.”

The President continues to be fit for duty and discharges his duties in full, without any exceptions or adjustments.

In spite of the fact that the campaign has begun to heat up, Biden has not yet announced his intention to run for office again.

The current front-runner on the GOP side is former president Donald Trump, who was defeated by Joe Biden in the turbulent 2020 election.

After two years in which he guided the nation beyond the Covid pandemic, brought an end to the US war in Afghanistan, and rallied Western nations against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Biden is expected to run on his heavyweight political record.

Yet during the campaign, concerns about his age and ongoing Republican allegations that he is mentally unfit will probably be a big theme.
