President William Ruto has urged the leaders of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance not to take advantage of the impoverished Kenyans by encouraging them to demonstrate against the Kenya Kwanza Alliance government.
Speaking on Friday at the Affordable Housing Project’s opening in Shauri Moyo, Nairobi, Ruto said it is regrettable that Azimio leaders are using underprivileged Kenyan youngsters as a prop while their kids are living large in Arusha, Tanzania, and other places in Europe.
Ruto questioned, “I want to ask you that you took your children to the parliament in Arusha and others in Europe and then you want to take children who belong to Kenyans to Jacaranda and Kamukunji, what do you take Kenyans for?
Winnie Odinga, a daughter of former Kenyan prime minister Raila Odinga, and Kennedy Kalonzo, a son of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, were chosen to be a part of the nine-member Kenyan delegation at the East Africa Legislative Assembly in Arusha.
Family members of Jeremiah Kioni, secretary general of the Jubilee Party, reside in Europe.
