Ezekiel Machogu, the cabinet secretary in charge of education, has denied reports that Nyambaria National School won the KCSE exams in 2022.
Machogu refuted accusations that Nyambaria National School in Nyamira county earned the most A marks when he spoke on Friday in Nairobi.
According to statistics provided by the Kenya National Examinations Council, Kiambu’s Mang’u High School took first place with 82 As, according to Machogu.
According to the CS, Mang’u was followed by Alliance High (72), Maranda (68), and Kapsabet Boys (52 As), who came in at position five.
Nyambaria from Nyamira, which received 28 As, has drawn a lot of criticism from those who contest its outcomes.
To clear up any confusion, Machogu also stated that Siaya was the county in Nyanza with the most amount of A grades.
The next-place finishers from the area were Kisumu (59), Kisii (66), and Migori (66). (50).
Nyamira obtained 31 A ratings.
