Kamene Goro, a bubbly radio host, broke her silence when it was revealed that she had been sacked from Kiss FM for serious misconduct.
She allegedly lost her job after a disciplinary committee was established to look into her absences and occasional drunken office visits.
She, however, denied allegations that she was let go.
According to Kamene, she had decided not to extend her agreement with Radio Africa Group.
“The business did not let me go. As I also mentioned to you, I wanted more for my life, thus there was no need for me to extend my contract with them, which ran out at the end of this month, January.
She went on to say that contrary to what has been reported online, she has absolutely no animosity toward the business.
“Sikufutwa kazi and I don’t have a grudge towards anyone. I’ve heard those tales, but it’s alright to talk as long as you do it from a position of knowledge, she added.
Next week, Kamene vowed to reveal her new intentions.
She wants to take a break right now before starting a new trip.
Andrew Kibe, a content creator, left Kiss FM in June 2020, and Kamene Goro joined the station in June 2019.
