Everton manager Frank Lampard reportedly got into a big altercation with his own players in the dressing room amid his team’s subpar performance in the current Premier League season.

According to The Sun, Abdoulaye Doucoure, a midfielder, was ordered to practice alone as a result of the altercation.

On Saturday, January 21, the team that left for London to play West Ham in a 2-0 victory did not include Doucoure.

He is currently working out apart from the other members of the first-team squad while participating in his drills.

Other players, besides Doucoure, who has been linked to Fulham because his contract expires in the summer, took part in the intense brawl on January 14.

The fight broke out in the Goodison Park locker room following Everton’s 2-1 loss to Southampton.

In their last 12 Premier League games, Everton has only triumphed once, a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace on October 22. They are currently ranked 19th in the Premier League.

Considering that the board will have an emergency meeting on January 22nd, Lampard, 44, is under strain and feeling the heat in his position.
