In connection with the murder of 24-year-old Keagan Githua, who was fatally murdered on October 30 by thieves riding a motorcycle in Ridgeways, Kiambu county, detectives have detained four suspects.
The investigators from DCI-Starehe launched an early-morning operation that started at a public restroom along River Road, where they quickly apprehended the first suspect. They then traveled to Githurai, where the remaining suspects were apprehended and the deceased’s smartphone was found.
Detectives from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau have done a thorough examination of the gang’s modus operandi and have subsequently determined that the gang is based in the Githurai area.
