Joycelyn Savage, R. Kelly’s former live-in girlfriend and current alleged fiancée, is getting ready to publish a book detailing her relationship with the pedophilic R&B singer.
The 26-year-old Savage verified the title and “should be published on Saturday” of the book in an email to The Post.
She said of the book’s subject matter, “All I can tell is that it is about Robert, the beginning of my life in Robert’s shadow, where things began to take off, and where they are currently headed.”
Kelly, whose full name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, asked Savage if she and Kelly were engaged, but she would not confirm or deny it to The Post. In my book, I’ll have all the answers, she assured.
She also declined to say where the book will be sold or whether it would be produced independently or by a recognized publishing house.
In a letter to a federal judge that The Post was able to obtain, Savage identified herself as Kelly’s fiancée and pleaded for a lighter sentence for his decades-long sexual abuse of women and young girls and boys. Kelly received a 30-year prison term in the sex trafficking case.
