Famous economist Dr. David Ndii from Kenya has encouraged President Uhuru Kenyatta to recognize Vice President William Ruto as the winner of the recently held presidential election and permit Kenyans to go back to work.
Ruto is in a dominating lead in the presidential tally, according to numerous sources, including the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Reuters, and may reach the 50+1 percent threshold once the total is complete.
In a tweet, Ndii asked President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is supporting Raila Odinga of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance, to accept defeat and let Kenyans get back to work constructing their country.
For normal service to resume, Uhuru should admit this, Ndii stated on his social media page.
Ndii made the remark even though the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is still calculating the presidential votes and would soon choose Kenya’s fifth president.
