Kevin Kioko Mbuvi, alias Bahati, a candidate for the Jubilee Party’s parliamentary nomination, claims his efforts in the Mathare constituency have cost him up to Sh 50 million.
Speaking on Monday, Bahati, who is running against ODM candidate Antony Oluoch, claimed that he has invested Sh 33 million into his campaign since it began.
“MP campaigns cost too much money. It’s about Sh50 million in price. I’ll have spent more than Sh33 million by the time these initiatives are completed, the musician claimed.
Bahati claimed that he has received support from his friends during the campaigns and that he will spend roughly Ksh10 million on Tuesday alone.
