After being attacked by thugs and having his face nearly mutilated, the Kamba musician who created RUTO’s official campaign song sobs, “I was not paid even a dime” (VIDEO).

Mr. Wise, a Kamba artist who produced Rais Wa Kesho, the official campaign song for Ruto that has received close to 1 million views on YouTube, is recovering from injuries he sustained in a goon attack over the weekend.

Mr. Wise claimed that while on his way home to Nairobi, five thugs accosted him and beat him ruthlessly because he had dedicated the song to William Ruto.

He revealed the wounds he received during the incident and claimed that the attackers wanted him to remove the song from YouTube but that he was able to flee.
