William Ruto, the presidential candidate for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, is now camping in Meru County to raise awareness of his campaign ahead of the election on August 9.
Ruto assaulted the vote-rich county like a man on a mission, supported by United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidates under the direction of county senator Mithinka Linturi.
Ruto was greeted when he started his campaigns by a sea of people who were dancing and singing in praise of the second in charge.
At one point, the jubilant audience began chanting “yote yawezekana Bila Uhuru,” causing Ruto to pause and join in.
