Dennis Itumbi, the spokesman for Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau (HNBI), has revealed a sinister scheme by Citizen TV to give former Prime Minister Raila Odinga media attention despite his declaration that he would boycott the Presidential Debate scheduled for Tuesday at Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA).
Prof. Makau Mutua, the campaign spokesman for Raila Odinga, stated on Sunday that his boss will not share the stage with Deputy President William Ruto due to his dubious moral character.
Raila Odinga will meet with Kenyans one-on-one in Nairobi’s Jericho Social Hall on Tuesday night, according to Makau.
One of Ruto’s communication assistants, Itumbi, commented on social media on Monday that Citizen TV, which is owned by Raila Odinga’s biggest supporter, SK Macharia, plans to split the screen on Tuesday so that they can cover both the Presidential Debate and Raila Odinga’s meeting at Jericho Social Hall at the same time.
Itumbi added that Linus Kaikai, a senior manager at Citizen, had proposed the proposal and accused him of harboring bias towards the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and its presidential candidate William Ruto.
