The administration of President Uhuru Kenyatta has been charged with trying to undermine the election on August 9th, according to renowned Nairobi attorney Ahmednasir Abdullahi.

The three were charged with transporting delicate Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) items without a senior commission official’s company.

In a post on social media on Friday, Ahmednasir claimed that the Office of the President had planned the expedition to arrest the three in order to undermine the election on August 9th after sensing their candidate’s defeat.

Ahmednasir stated on his Twitter page that “this office’s manful drive to achieve its evil goals at any cost should never be underestimated.”
