Following Rigathi Gachagua’s outstanding performance in yesterday’s Deputy Presidential debate, Deputy President William Ruto is ecstatic.
Many believed that Gachagua, the leader of NARC Kenya, would defeat Mathira MP Martha Karua when they squared off against each other as Raila’s running partner.
Rigathi Gachagua, a Mathira MP, handily defeated Martha Karua in the discussion, according to a number of polls taken following the event.

Before going to the Catholic University of Eastern Africa for the presidential running mate debate, Gachagua spent the majority of the day with the party’s economists (CUEA).
