After penning biographies for ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto, Babior Newton has earned a reputation as one of the nation’s famous biographers.
The Rise of a Hustler, a book by Babior about Ruto, has sold more than 4000 copies at a cost of Sh3,000 each.
Recent revelations by the biographer indicated that the DP gave him Sh20 million for the book.
When he revealed that the previous prime minister had not paid him for the biography he had written about him, The Raila Conspiracy, he made the revelation.
According to Babior, the DP was kind to him and even gave him millions of dollars.
“To write a biography, I demand Sh10 million. However, William Ruto called to ask if I would like to sit down and have a cup of tea with him.
“I didn’t request it, but he offered me a figure that is nearly twice what I billed. Additionally, I have sold over 4000 copies.
Because the DP is a trustworthy individual, he expressed confidence that he will become Kenya’s next president.
