Ahmednassir Abdullahi, a well-known city attorney and William Ruto’s buddy, has puzzled the Kenya Kwanza camp after he appeared to implore Kenyans to vote for Raila Odinga in the August election in order for Kenya to be at peace.
Ahmednassir claimed in a series of tweets that if Raila loses the election, the nation will descend into turmoil like to that of 2007–2008.
The seasoned attorney contended that the idea that Raila will triumph because he has the support of President Uhuru Kenyatta and key government figures is intended to create the conditions for contesting the election’s results and causing havoc.
Ahmednassir claims that the “false” polls that show Raila ahead of Ruto are an attempt to dispel the claims of members of the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition that Raila will lose the election if he does not do well in the polls.
“Once Raila loses the August presidential election, I predict chaos. Numerous reasons could lead to widespread anarchy… Every time Raila loses, his fans are led to believe that his votes were stolen.
If this doesn’t happen, Ahmednassir predicted that there will be a lot of bloodshed following the elections in August.
Raila will run for president on August 9 in what would be his fifth attempt.
He will be up against George Wajackoyah, David Waihiga, and Ruto of Kenya Kwanza in the race for the presidency.
