William Ruto, the vice president, has every right to be concerned about the eagerly awaited general election on August 9.
This comes after David Murathe, vice-chairman of the Jubilee Party, disclosed the surprise that will befall the DP in August.
Murathe revealed what President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto did to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in 2017 when speaking in an interview.
Murathe claims that Uhuru has already started using his machinery to ensure that Ruto is utterly destroyed before August.
While defending the zooming policy, Murathe disclosed that Jubilee’s 2017 success in Western Kenya—a NASA stronghold—and its ability to win 7 seats there were solely the result of intra-party conflict within Raila’s camp.
He pointed out that Raila, Musalia Mudavadi, and Moses Wetangula would frequently all run for office, which was advantageous for Jubilee because it helped to split the vote for NASA. And in the year 2022, Azimio is employing the same plan Jubilee used to destroy NASA to eliminate Ruto instead.
