To join the 2022 presidential debate, which will take place on Tuesday, July 26, at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) in Karen, Nairobi, Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has set a requirement.
Wajackoyah stated in a previous interview that he would only attend the debate if Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto were also there.
Wajackoyah asserts that if the argument is limited to David Mwaure, the candidate for the Agano presidency, it won’t be a waste of time.
“Let me be clear: I won’t spend my time debating with Mwaure if Ruto and Raila won’t be at the presidential debate. Only Ruto and Raila will be the subjects of my dispute, Wajackoyah declared.
Wajackoyah is upset with Mwaure because the Agano leader ordered the head of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEBC) to assemble a group of psychiatrists to determine the Ganjaman’s mental state.
Mwaure claims that Wajackoyah has turned his presidential campaign into an illegal business.
Kenyans have watched in disbelief as Prof. Wajackoyah supports drug trafficking and use, the planting of bhang in public places, the opening of bars in schools, and the suspension of the constitution.
In a statement, Mwaure urged IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati to “urgently establish a panel of distinguished psychiatrists to ascertain the mental health of this individual.”
