After attempting to rouse Meru County residents against Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential ambition in August, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya said on Tuesday that he wanted the earth would open and consume him.
Munya claimed that Ruto intended to detain and prosecute President Uhuru Kenyatta following the August 9th election in a video footage that has now gone viral.
The crowd responded negatively to his comments by outright requesting that he quit deceiving the public.
Munya has had various difficulties when attempting to malign Ruto in Meru and the surrounding counties.
The CS has publicly declared that Raila Odinga will be his choice for president in the August elections.
However, the situation on the ground appears to be different because Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza squad have a sizable fan base in the Mt. Kenya region.
