Not everyone as Kenyans anticipated will receive RAILA ODINGA’s monthly payment of Sh 6000.

Azimio– The Kenyans who will receive the Sh 6000 monthly stipend that one presidential candidate in Kenya, Raila Odinga, has officially named.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila announced that his administration will provide poor families in the nation with Sh 6000 each month to meet their basic necessities during the introduction of his manifesto earlier this month.

This stipend will only be available to qualifying homes that are below the poverty line, according to Raila’s explanation on Tuesday.

A number of Kenyans who live in poverty are the subject of our discussion, said Raila.

In Kenya, if a person spends less than Sh3, 252 a month on food and non-food items in rural areas and Sh5, 992 in urban areas, they are considered to be living below the poverty line.

Raila claims that the KNBS has already identified roughly two million families and created beneficiary profiles for them.

According to him, assuming a four-person average family size, this translates to roughly eight million people.

By eliminating the theft of public funds through biased procurement and other unethical actions, according to Raila, the money will be collected.
