According to a recent opinion survey conducted by Mizani Africa, the current governor of Nakuru County, Lee Kinyanjui, will leave for home before 8 a.m. in August.

The Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika received 58.1 percent of the vote, while Lee Kinyanjui received 35.1 percent, placing her far behind in the contest for county governor.

In Nakuru County, Susan Kihika has been a formidable force, and she is tight with Deputy President William Ruto.

Keroche wealthy Tabitha Karanja of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) won the Nakuru Senate race with 42.5 percent, followed by Lawrence Karanja (Jubilee), who received 26.1 percent of the vote.

Though Mizani polls indicate otherwise, Nakuru County is thought to be Deputy President William Ruto’s stronghold in the upcoming general elections.

According to the most recent information provided by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, there are over 1 million registered voters in the county (IEBC).
