Yesterday, the Kenya Kwanza Alliance rally in Kieni, Nyeri County, was led by Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua, the running partner of Deputy President William Ruto.
Gachagua’s campaign, however, took a terrible turn when one of his trucks crashed near Kieni, wounding numerous people.
Gachagua’s car, which was marked in UDA colors, allegedly nearly murdered Ruto’s followers, but fortunately they managed to flee with various degrees of injuries.
The ODM leader Raila Odinga’s presidential campaign has been promoted by local MP Kanini Kega, who was criticized by the DP’s running mate during the Kieni rally.
Gachagua advised Kega to stop spending time trying to sell Baba in Mount Kenya since the populace had already made up its mind that William Ruto should take over.
He asserts that Raila’s opponents in Kieni will not support him because he has no plans for them.
In order to rally support for Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential campaign, Gachagua traveled the constituency accompanied by Governor Mutahi Kahiga and a number of local authorities.
