According to a Mizani Africa opinion poll, Raila Odinga, the former prime minister, no longer has control over Narok County, which had been his stronghold for almost 20 years.
The survey predicts that in August, Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidates will win every major seat in Narok county.
According to Mizani Africa, “Narok opinion poll findings imply a win for UDA as its candidates take the highest rating locally starting from the gubernatorial, senatorial, and Women Rep level.”
Patrick Ole Ntutu, a fervent supporter of Ruto, is predicted by the survey to win the Narok governor’s contest by 59.5 percent. After Ntutu, Moitalel Ole Kenta of the Orange Democratic Movement will win with 37.8 percent of the vote.
Samuel Tunai of UDA has emerged as the front-runner in the contest for the Senate. With 51.7 percent of the vote, Tunai is far ahead of Ledama Ole Kina of Azimio, who is only 30 percent popular.
Additionally, UDA has controlled the position of Woman Representative. According to the poll, UDA candidate Rebecca Tonkei is the most well-liked with 51.7 percent of the vote, followed by Azimio candidate Lydia Ntimama with 19.2 percent.
