A doctor who gave birth to a boy at the age of 83 says he lives every day with the knowledge that he won’t get to see his son grow up.
Alberto Cormillot, a nutrition expert, said that his 35-year-old wife Estefania Pasquini got pregnant following fertility treatment.
Despite his advanced age, Dr. Cormillot claims to be actively involved in Emilio’s upbringing.
He continued by saying that because he knows he won’t be around to watch the child grow, he is doing what he can right now to give the child as many memories as he can.
I’m conscious that life is finite, he said. I’m going to stay with that little kid till that time now that he’s here.
“Until that happens I plan to enjoy every day to the fullest and make plans that are more short-term, which means I enjoy every day as fully as I can.”
Dr. Cormillot routinely leaves audio messages for his kid to find in the future because he is continuously thinking about the future.
That means that, despite the fact that he is still a baby, he has a WhatsApp phone number that I use to send him movies and music that I record.
“I just document life as it is; I don’t overdramatize anything.”
Renee and Adrian, his two adult sons, as well as three grandkids, already exist.
In 2017, Monika Arborgast, his first wife, passed away.
Dr. Cormillot, who resides in Argentina, continued by saying that he is continuously considering the best ways to get his son ready for the future while he is still alive.
More than 50 books, largely on health education, have been produced by Dr. Cormillot, who has also published over a hundred scientific papers that have been presented at conferences and journals around the world.
In spite of receiving a colon cancer diagnosis in 2012, surgery completely eliminated the tumor.
