William Kabogo, the former governor of Kiambu County, has said that he has severed relations with the Kenya Kwanza Alliance leadership and is now focusing on how to win re-election as governor of Kiambu County in August.

The leader of the Tujibebe Wakenya party, Kabogo, claimed he has severed connections with the coalition led by William Ruto because he has come to realize that it is rife with dishonesty and con artists.

Rigathi Gachagua, Ruto’s running mate, is reportedly supporting United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidates in Mount Kenya, according to Kabogo, which he claims was not agreed upon when he joined the alliance earlier this year.

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) MPs, according to Kabogo, are given preference at the events while his members are ‘bullied,’ muzzled, and made to take second place.

It takes two to tangle, and you wouldn’t tell me that William Ruto directs people to vote for UDA through his deputy and that he is aware that I am a candidate, Kabogo remarked.

Kabogo added advised Kenyans to cast informed ballots and choose leaders who will improve their circumstances after the results are in.
