The tragic death of Tom Mann’s fiancée Dani on the eve of their wedding has devastated him.
Tom, a contestant on the 2014 season of The X Factor, shared the tragic news of his partner’s passing on social media.
The couple has a son who is eight months old.
On what should have been the happiest day of their lives, he wrote in a heartbreaking message that he had lost the “love of his life.”
Tom said that his fiancée was the “greatest thing to have ever happened” to him and that, as a “symbol of unconditional love” for her, he would always wear his engagement ring.
He also stated that he would be raising their son alone in the hopes that he would make her proud.
My lovely Dani, my closest friend, my everything and more, the love of my life, departed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, June 18, and I can’t believe I’m writing this, he said.
We experienced unrecoverable heartbreak on the day that was supposed to be the happiest of our lives. I feel as though I’ve shed a sea of tears. Danielle, I know you know that you were my entire world and the best thing that has ever happened to me, but we never made it to the alter, got to say our vows, or danced our first dance.
“I am absolutely exhausted from trying to digest this and I honestly don’t know what to do next, but I do know that I must collect all of my strength for our young son. I promise to do everything in my power to raise Bowie just how we always envisioned, but I won’t be a stain on the parent you had already become. He will be aware of how extraordinary his mother was, I swear. I swear to make you incredibly proud.
“The most stunning individual both inside and out. the most amazing soul. We lost such a special person, and I have no doubt that we will soon witness a generous display of affection in tribute to them.
“My darling Dani, the brightest light in any room, my world is nothing but darkness without you. I will miss you forever.”
