According to the most recent TIFA poll, George Wajackoyah, the presidential candidate for the Roots Party, has a seven percent approval rating.
Wajackoyah looks to have hurt Deputy President William Ruto’s standing in the poll issued on Tuesday after the DP’s support in Nairobi County fell to 25% in June 2022.
On the other hand, Raila Odinga, a presidential candidate for Azimio la Umoja, has passed the 50% threshold after receiving 41% of the vote in May 2022.
The support distribution for the two main presidential candidates shows “this significant popularity-gap of both ODM and Azimio,” with ODM’s Raila Odinga receiving twice as much support as UDA’s William Ruto (50 percent vs. 25 percent), according to TIFA.
With a four percent score, the Roots Party has matched Jubilee’s popularity in Nairobi County.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party’s support rose from 26% to 30%, while UDA’s support stayed the same at 22%.
