A young Muslim woman has received criticism from Muslims on Twitter for her clothing choices.
On Saturday, June 18, images of the woman were posted on a Twitter account (Hafsa @wy dee), however it is unknown whether she is the account’s real owner or a catfish.
Some Muslims responded to the post by criticizing the woman for wearing “such a clothing,” claiming that it goes against what the Qur’an teaches.
One Abdullaziz Ibrahim commented on the post and said that if the woman were his wife, he would divorce her.
He declared, “If I’m the husband, you’ll receive your divorce for wearing this dress in public.”
“If this is called civilization, we prefer to die uncivilized, we have failed to prove the teaching of Quran and Sunnah” one Ahmad Adamu wrote.
