In a “last-minute decision,” the UK’s Home Office has refused to let American musician Lil Wayne into the country.

This comes after it was revealed that the rapper would be making his first appearance in London after having some issues with customs there in 2008.

On Saturday, June 18, the rapper from Young Money was scheduled to play at the Strawberries & Creem Festival, but the Home Office denied him entry.

According to a statement from Strawberries & Creem, Lil Wayne is no longer able to play at the festival on Saturday, June 18th, “due to extraordinary circumstances beyond our control or influence.” “The Home Office made a last-minute decision to deny Lil Wayne admittance to the United Kingdom. We are quite dissatisfied by this abrupt and unfavorable decision.
